SoulEndvr — Live
SoulEndvr Is a production company which has produced some of London’s most unique live music events and as our social calendars are starting to fill up again, we at SoulEndvr are ready to usher in a new era of outdoor and indoor shows. We encourage musicians across the board to join us for free and take full advantage of what we have to offer.
One of our favourite and most unique events is OST(Original Soundtrack). A unique night where live improvised music - meets - short independent film, feature film and animation. Led by our founder trumpeter Jay Phelps, a band of highly skilled musicians are constantly on their toes as they navigate through an improvised score, having never watched the visual piece previously, they compliment the film as the story unfolds. The films are displayed and chosen by our director of design Pritpal Ajimal. Typically viewed at a venue such as the Royal Albert Hall and played by the London Philharmonic, this is a scaled-down version of a similar concept but with improvised music which is always very engaging for both the audience and musicians alike.
With plans coming back and the sense of hope in the air, we at SoulEndvr are here to create an experience like no other from classical to jazz gigs and film nights to DJ sets. Come and see the change with SoulEndvr.
PYJÆN — Wednesday 18 August 2021
SoulEndvr are delighted to present PYJÆN, in conjunction with Bridge the Gap management at the famous Hootananny, Brixton.
PYJÆN reach inside the deep, multidimensional well of what is broadly called Jazz and bring together all its diverse components in a singular, emotional sound. The combo is delighted to announce the release of their second album 'Feast' on the 10th of Sept 2021 via DeepMatter Records.
The new chapter of their musical journey creates room for featured artists once again, an exercise they thoroughly enjoyed and learnt from on their 'Sage Secrets' EP with Blue Lab Beats and Odette Peters. PYJÆN'S upcoming album was recorded at Peter Gabriel's legendary Real World Studios in Bath over a full week in November 2020, an unforgettable experience that elevated the music and created an unrivaled connection between the 5 band members and featured artists such as Nix Northwest, Elisa Imperilee, Renato Paris and Corto Alto.
Jackson Mathod — Wednesday 15 September 2021
SoulEndvr are delighted to present JACKSON MATHOD in conjunction with Bridge the Gap management at the famous Hootananny, Brixton.
Following on from a successful year of releases with support from the likes of 6 music, Jazz FM andWorldwide FM, as well over 500k streams to date, Jackson Mathod is delighted play his first show at Ronnie Scott's under his own name.
The 28-year-old trumpet player studied Jazz at Guildhall, where he developed his undeniable skills on the instrument and sensibility for song writing. However, never feeling fully embedded in the jazz world, he quickly went onto the session musician circuit, playing for high profile artists such as Stormzy or Jordan Rakei.
A performer at heart, he started his own function band in parallel, with the role of frontman to fulfil his love for singing. “I’m really trying to just follow where my subconscious is taking me musically. I guess this explains why there's so much diversity in my music."
During lockdown, he performed mini concerts outside his flat, where people would come and sit down on their own chairs with a beer or glass of wine from home or the pub!
